Join to apply for the Test Engineering Manager role at Quantic Electronics6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Test Engineering Manager role at Quantic ElectronicsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.DescriptionSummary:The Test Engineering Manager innovation and provides training and technical guidance to all levels of the business and participates with all business areas and customers to deliver expertly tested products on time and on budget.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute test plans: Create comprehensive test plans for RF systems and components.Perform RF testing: Use advanced test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.Analyze test data: Provide detailed reports on performance, quality, and reliability.Troubleshoot and debug: Identify and resolve issues in RF systems and components.Collaborate with design engineers: Work closely with design teams to ensure products meet performance standards. Train and mentor lower level engineers and technicians.Support new product development: Lead the test engineering function for new product and R&D projects from product concept to launch.Maintain test equipment: Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accurate measurements.Develop automated test scripts: Improve testing efficiency through automation.Lead company-wide test automation initiatives: Work with counterparts throughout engineering and production to develop and implement world-class test automation hardware and software solutions.RequirementsBachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Radio Frequency, or related field of study.Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.Ten (10) years or more of experience in RF, test measurement, and high power amplifiers up to 10 kW.Preferred LabVIEW, Microsoft Visual Studio C, C#, C++, or any other programming languages. Database knowledge, SQL, Pspice, or equivalent.Mastery of automation for test equipment such as Agilent/Keysight and Rhode and Schwartz (RF Signal Generator, Arbitrary Waveform Generators, Vector Network Analyzers, RF Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, RF Power meters).Additional InformationThis position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws.
