Train, guide and mentor maintenance team. Oversee critical inventory, and implement scheduled, preventative and predictive maintenance programs. Partner with production and compounding teams to maximize plant uptime and throughput.Key ResponsibilitiesManufacturing Engineering Manager directs and works alongside workers (hands-on role) in electrical, mechanical, PLC, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipmentEstablishes and implement scheduled, preventive & predictive maintenance proceduresApplies and shares knowledge of equipment maintenance and reliabilityManagement team position. Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipmentSet-up packaging equipment and maintain daily operationsWorking with pneumatic, hydraulic and power transfer systemsDefining and implementing scheduled and preventive maintenance programsOversee scheduled down times including all maintenance and inspections performedTroubleshoot and repair equipment to ensure that specified efficiency and quality targets are metManage multiple maintenance projects to completion with an agreed set of project goals and timelinesProvide detailed reporting of progress to managementDecide critical equipment purchases and contract services to support the businessEnsure compliance with OSHA and Company safety regulations, standards and proceduresEstablish and maintain effective work and communication relationships within departments, ensuring that efficient day to day operational decisions can be achievedWork closely with Operations to ensure continuous improvement, and that the facility runs efficientlyInvolve during a greenfield site buildComplete special projects as assignedQualifications & Experience10+ years of maintenance experience in a production and contract manufacturing environment, with pharmaceutical, food or cosmetics industry experience a plus5+ years of supervisory experience within a Maintenance DepartmentExperience in the following areas : Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatics, Plumbing, PLC, General Building, Production Packaging Equipment, Plant Facilities, etc.Previous experience in commercial construction a plus.Experience troubleshooting maintenance problems and establishing Preventive Maintenance proceduresExperience with Resource (materials/tools) & Manpower (hours) estimating and managementStrong computer, MS Excel, and Google Suite skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to collaborate with all departments and employees.Excellent organizational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
