OverviewMedical Physicist OpportunityColorado Associates in Medical Physics (CAMP) is currently seeking clinically focused medical physicists who are passionate about advancing patient care, supporting best practice initiatives, and mentoring the next generation through our newly created residency program. These positions join a collaborative team under the direction of our Chief of Therapeutic Medical Physics.ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical medical physics support in a collaborative team environment under the Chief of Therapeutic Medical Physics.Mentor and supervise residents as part of CAMP’s newly created residency program.Engage in clinical projects and support innovative initiatives; access to advanced equipment and technologies.Participate in journal clubs and ongoing professional development; active involvement in professional organizations (e.g., AAPM, ABR).Contribute to cross-disciplinary teamwork with therapy, diagnostic, nuclear medicine, health physics, and medical dosimetry teams.Support regular meetings (monthly specialty calls and site-specific meetings) and provide coverage for extended or emergent time off as needed.Support specialization and clinically relevant research as part of continuous quality improvement and peer review processes.QualificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible (Part 2 of ABR Therapeutic Medical Physics exam).Minimum 2 years of strong clinical experience.Strong communication skills and the ability to function independently while thriving as part of an integrated team.Experience with Varian TrueBeam, Varian Aria/Eclipse, Varian Bravos HDR, and Elekta Gamma Knife is helpful; comprehensive training will be provided to close pensation & BenefitsCAMP offers a highly competitive salary based on training and experience, with reference to AAPM Salary Survey data:Clinical Therapeutic Medical Physicist: $190,000 – $270,000Relocation assistanceFully paid health insurance premiums for employees and their familiesFunded HSA/FSA accounts401(k) contributionsProfessional development time and fundingOngoing peer support and growth opportunities within a large, collaborative group1 day/week remote option for consideration of work-life balanceBoard Certified or Board Eligible (Part 2 of ABR Therapeutic Medical Physics exam)Minimum 2 years of strong clinical experienceStrong communication skillsAbility to function independently while thriving as part of an integrated teamLiving in Denver, ColoradoWhen you make Denver your home, you get the best of both worlds — the energy of a growing city and the calm of the Rocky Mountains just outside your door.
