If you're seeking career growth, a vibrant company culture, and strong relationships, this opportunity is for you.Job ResponsibilitiesDeveloping, implementing, and tracking a business plan for the structures group that supports JT’s growthCoordinating long-term strategic pursuitsCommunicating directly with clients to ensure satisfaction and retentionDetermining staffing needs, assisting in the recruitment and retention of staffWorking with the executive team to coordinate service line plan alignment with company goalsEnsuring projects meet established deadlines, specifications, budgets, and client expectationsSuccession planning for all service line staff/positionsManaging, mentoring, and assisting staff with individual developmentDeveloping and managing the overall service line budget, including oversight/tracking of project budgets and profitabilityOverseeing service line overhead and coordination across service linesReviewing/approving contracts and proposalsIdentifying capital purchases and software needsCoordinating and approving staff trainingMarketing/Business DevelopmentTracking and forecasting service line backlogOverseeing and tracking all service line project schedulesJob RequirementsBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university with 12+ years of experience in structural engineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) License in Wisconsin or ability to obtain PEExperience managing structural engineering design projects and design staffKnowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations and permittingStrong verbal and written communication skillsSolid organizational and time management skillsSelf-disciplined and motivated, with ability to work well in a teamValid driver's license and reliable transportation to worksites, client meetings, and conferencesLegally authorized to work permanently in the country where this position is locatedAbility to travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related workLife at JT: The Benefits and PerksJT offers competitive salaries, comprehensive insurance, strong retirement plans, performance incentives, professional development, wellness programs, and more.
