Corporate Counsel

OverviewResponsible for providing legal advice and assistance related to data security, artificial intelligence, privacy, product development and general contract law.ResponsibilitiesProvide Product Development, IT, Security and other business units with legal advice across many subject areas including security, privacy, AI, and general contract lawAnalyze products, policies and initiatives to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies and support responsible teams with implementationDraft/review agreements and amendments to client service agreements to support Company’s strategic plan without exposing Company to unwarranted risks or liabilitiesReview/negotiate agreements with third party vendors or partners related to data security, AI, and privacyStay current on legal and industry developments related to areas of responsibilityMaintain excellent partnerships with internal clients to meet their legal and business needsProvide support for any other matters as may become necessaryQualificationsMust be in good bar standing with any state.At least 3-5 years of relevant data use, security, and privacy (U.S. and GDPR) experience, including at an in-house legal department. AI experience and/or privacy certification(s) recommendedLaw Degree (JD).Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.Must be able to effectively interact with all levels of pensationIn the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $105,763 - $166,200. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
