Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$250,000.00/yr - $350,000.00/yrPosition: Senior Business & Commercial Litigation AttorneyLocation: Houston, TX (In-Office)Compensation: $250,000+ base (DOE) + BonusBillable Requirement: 173 hours/month (~2,076/year)Experience Required: 10+ yearsAbout the Opportunity: A respected Houston-based law firm is seeking a Senior Business & Commercial Litigation Attorney with 10+ years of experience to join its high-level litigation team. This is a full-time, in-office role for a litigator ready to take ownership of complex matters, collaborate with elite peers, and grow within a dynamic and well-supported legal environment.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle a wide variety of business and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolutionDirect all phases of litigation, including strategy, discovery, motions, hearings, and trial prepAdvocate in court for corporate and business clients in high-stakes disputesProvide strategic counsel in matters involving contracts, shareholder disputes, business torts, etc.Mentor junior attorneys and coordinate with support staff to efficiently manage caseloadsMaintain a monthly billable expectation of 173 hoursPreferred (Not Required) ExperienceTrial experience - first or second chairTRO (Temporary Restraining Order) and TI (Temporary Injunction) litigationEmergency relief and injunction strategy and executionRequired Qualifications10+ years of relevant business/commercial litigation experienceLicensed and in good standing with the Texas State BarExcellent writing, research, and litigation strategy skillsSelf-starter with the ability to independently manage complex caseloadsStrong oral advocacy and courtroom presenceWhat's OfferedBase salary starting at $250K+, depending on experienceBonus potential based on performance and contributionAchievable billable hours with strong infrastructure and supportCollaborative and entrepreneurial firm cultureIn-office role offering high-level mentorship and team engagementFull benefits packageAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
