As a Sr. Consulting Manager (which is a Sr. Manager level position) this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues. Apply now!Key ResponsibilitiesConsulting engagements: Lead a team of Consultants, Product Owners, and Business Analysts.Digital transformation projects: Define business process flows, new system requirements, and capabilities.Requirement elicitation: Work with client stakeholders to gather, manage, and prioritize the product backlog.Product vision and roadmap: Create and maintain the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.Collaboration: Work closely with Architecture, UX, and Engineering Teams to support and share knowledge of functional and non-functional requirements.Client interaction: Act as a bridge between engineering scrum teams and the business team, ensuring clear communication and understanding.Business process understanding: Demonstrate a deep understanding of business processes and emerging business trends.Energy & Utilities expertise: Ability to speak the language of Energy & Utilities Subject Matter Experts and Product Managers.Problem-solving: Thrive in unknown territories of business problems, create hypotheses, and set the direction.Technical skills: Strong analytical and technical skills, with an understanding of emerging Energy & Utilities technologies.Requirement gathering: Gather and analyze requirements and features, create conceptual solutions, and produce key outputs such as As-Is and To-Be Business Processes, Use Cases, Logical Data Models, Scenarios, Business Rules, Non-Functional Requirements, and Data Quality Requirements.Agile methodology: Experience as a product owner or scrum master, maintaining a healthy backlog and prioritizing user stories for development.Required QualificationsExtensive experience in the Energy & Utilities industryAbility to lead teams and interact with business leadership on a regular basisSkilled in promoting the benefits of business case development to stakeholdersLeadership experience, including the ability to manage team dynamics and address conflictsRequired Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering or Management degree strongly preferredWork Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Salary And Other CompensationApplications will be accepted until May 23rd, 2025.The annual salary for this position is between $98,853.00 – $158,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Medical/Dental/Vision/Life InsurancePaid holidays plus Paid Time Off401(k) plan and contributionsLong-term/Short-term DisabilityPaid Parental LeaveEmployee Stock Purchase PlanDisclaimer: The salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
