college degree preferredAt least two (2) years in related field and three (3) years supervisory experience preferredMust complete Med Aid certification within six (6) months of hire and maintain current certificationAbility to communicate well both in written and oral formsGood organizational skills with eye for detailAbility to meet deadlines in a high pressure environmentMust be adaptable and have good decision-making skillsWorking knowledge of basic computer applications, with the aptitude to learn additional software and programsPhysical RequirementsConstantly moves about to coordinate workRoutinely works in a fast-paced environment with multiple task deadlinesRegularly moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 poundsOccasionally exposed to viruses and infectious conditionsConstantly alert and observant during working hoursReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities or a medical condition to perform the essential functions.Supervisory Responsibilities:Will supervise a minimum of twelve (12) employeesSpecial RequirementsMay be required to attend seminars or job-related training courses.Must have understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.Must have the ability to maintain good working relationships with Evergreen staff and with contacts from other agencies or entities.Must be able to prioritize work tasks.Employment VariablesMust have a good driving record that meets the minimum requirements for Evergreen and reliable transportation. Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
