With a population of 4,630, it is the county seat of Madison County and sits at the intersection of I-45, SH 21, and SH 75, making it a midpoint between Dallas, Houston, and Austin. Madisonville is a Type A General Law city governed by a Mayor and five Council Members. The City Council appoints a professional City Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and implement policies.The ideal candidate will be a visionary and approachable leader with experience managing a growing community.
