The Impact You'll Have: Support Growth Initiatives- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to design financial strategies that fuel expansion, service innovation, and sustainable success. Ensure Financial Excellence- Oversee financial planning, reporting, risk management, and compliance-ensuring the financial strength and future readiness of the firm. Lead & Mentor with Integrity- Build and lead a high-performing accounting team while fostering a transparent and accountable organizational culture. Champion the ESOP Culture- Bring a deep understanding of ESOP structures, compliance, and communication-reinforcing the value of ownership among employees. Streamline Multi-Location Financial Systems- Create systems and controls that support consistent, scalable financial performance across all locations. Guide Strategic Transactions- Play a key role in evaluating, structuring, and integrating potential mergers and acquisitions that align with the firm's long-term goals. Responsibilities: Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors. Lead all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management. Develop and mentor the accounting team. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and ESOP-specific financial regulations. Manage banking relationships, audit processes, insurance programs, and risk strategies. Guide capital allocation, investment analysis, and long-term financial planning. Lead financial due diligence, valuation modeling, and integration planning for M&A opportunities. Manage the annual ESOP valuation process. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including 5+ years in a senior financial leadership role. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; MBA or CPA preferred. Demonstrated experience managing financial and risk management strategies. Collaborative leadership style with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Proven ability to lead finance functions across multi-location organizations. Proficient in ERP systems such as Deltek VantagePoint, or similar platforms. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting or leading M&A transactions, including financial due diligence and integration. Background in civil engineering, professional services, or project-based firms. Experience with FAR overhead rate calculations and audits. Strong understanding of ESOP compliance, valuations, and employee communication strategies. The base pay for this position is expected to be in the range of $175,000 - $225,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
