OverviewAs the Market Director you will lead and develop a team of highly skilled Relationship Managers who nurture and develop high-net-worth client relationships. They provide centralized, high-touch service to offer best-in-class banking, lending, investment solutions, and thought leadership. Your role requires strategic thinking, a passion for exceptional client service, and a history of successfully building omni-channel businesses to meet the financial needs of affluent clients. Additionally, you'll need expertise in Sales and Practice Management to ensure dynamic and consistent performance at both the Relationship Manager and market levels.Job responsibilitiesRecruit, lead, mentor, and manage a team of exceptional Relationship Managers. Foster their professional growth by providing training and development opportunitiesSpearhead the development and execution of market strategic plans aimed at expanding the affluent client segmentBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients and centers of influenceFoster relationships with leaders across various lines of business to identify collaborative opportunities and ensure seamless client experiencesPromote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team and among internal stakeholdersEstablish clear performance expectations for team members. Provide regular feedback and coaching to help them achieve their goals and enhance their skills.Serve as the escalation point for complex client issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutionRepresent JPMorgan Chase at industry events and networking opportunitiesCreate and promote a culture of risk management and controlsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills10 Years in banking, wealth management, or financial services, with a focus on serving affluent clients5 years of experience in recruiting, developing, and coaching exceptional professionals who can serve affluent clients across their banking, investment, and lending needsStrong capability to cultivate a client-centric culture that prioritizes personalized service and long-term relationship buildingStrong track record in business development, including working with strategic clients and centers of influence to drive business growth and expand market reachExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with strategic thinking abilitiesProven success in building and maintaining internal partnerships across various departments to enhance service delivery and client care, with a focus on collaborative growth strategies.Ability to travel 30% of the time; willingness and ability to travel as neededPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsCollege degree or military equivalent preferred.Federal Deposit Insurance ActThis position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. As such, an employment offer for this position is contingent on JPMC's review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and any other information relevant to a determination by JPMC that you demonstrate financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness for the position. Note that any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration for this position. Your continued employment in this position would be contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator addition, this position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008.
