2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician

Our client in the Tifton, GA area is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to work in their maintenance department. The Industrial Maintenance Technician must be able to solve complex problems using mechanical knowledge and innovative thinking. The Industrial Maintenance Technician must be able to handle multiple projects and manage their time completing daily tasks. The Industrial Maintenance Technician’s success will demonstrate their ability to complete preventative maintenance, support production through efficient repairs and upgrades, and manage their time when completing daily tasks while answering emergent requests.Perform duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant’s equipment.Perform electrical troubleshooting for motor controls and drives.Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs.Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.~ Diploma, degree, or license in some form of industrial maintenance~3 years or more in the field, manufacturing or production preferred~ Must have basic math skills to include adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing~ Must be able to convert US standards to metrics~ Must be able to wear a respirator~ Must be forklift certifiable~ Must be able to work overtime when required, including weekends and holidays~ Must be able to take call, including after shift hours, weekends and holidaysAmbassador Personnel is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
