Capture and share children’s learning experiences throughslideshows and uploadsfor parents. Child & Classroom *****Maintainindividual child portfolioswith thoughtful documentation of children’s higher-level thinking, dialogue, and progress. Create aclass portfoliohighlighting 2s/3sproject workthroughout the school year. Classroom *****Foster anurturing and structured learning environmentusinggentle redirectionand positive reinforcement. Leadsmall and large group activities, circle time, and reflection meetingsto support children's social-emotional development. Curriculum & Lesson ***** Design engaging,developmentally appropriate lesson plansthat support 2s/3sreadinessand align withchildren’s interests through project-based learning. Integrate weeklyspecialist-led activities(music, language, movement, and more) into lesson planning. Support children’s emerging literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills through play and exploration. Care & *****Support children’sdaily routines, including snack and lunch time, dressing, and bathroom independence. Classroom *****Maintain awell-organized, engaging, and stimulating 2s/3s classroomthat encourages creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration. Professional Growth & ***** Participate inweekly team meetingsto reflect, document, and enhance learning experiences. Attendprofessional development dayswithReggio Emilia specialists. Lead thetraining, development, and supervisionof assistant/co-teachers. Daily ***** Prepare and submitweekly lesson plans(due every Monday). Regularly updatechild and classroom portfolios. Collaborate with co-teachers and staff ondocumentation projects. Actively participate instaff development trainings. Be open to theReggio Emilia philosophyand agrowth-oriented teaching approach.Prior Reggio Emilia experience is a plus. ***** Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education(or actively working toward one). Minimum of two yearsof classroom teaching experience, preferably in a2s/3s setting. New York State Certification preferred.
