BELFOR team members are a unique breed, committed to restoring not only property, but restoring lives for those affected by disasters, large or small. BELFOR also offers a wide range of benefit options including, but not limited to, 401(k), Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life Insurance, Employee Assistance Program, Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off. Duties:• Understand basic principles of painting and drywall restoration • Performs all levels of structural painting with quality workmanship and skills including but not limited to: • Paint bases and proper uses for all the various surfaces and elements such as, drying , thinning, and color matching • Knowledge with tools and purpose to use and obtain desired results • Proficient in application and techniques, texturing, blending, patch work, cut-ins, etc. • Drywalling, taping and sanding • Be able to complete work projects from start to finish, with limited supervision in allotted time frames • Have good communication skills; able to communicate well with customers and provide direction to other team members • Have the desire to learn quickly and be able to work in a fast paced work environment with a growing company • Perform Daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable condition • Must maintain attention to detail • Must have a comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices • Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines • Will be required to work nights and weekends as requested as travel periodically • Report time worked and equipment and consumables used timely and accurately • Independent completion of work projects without supervision • Maintain equipment, reporting any mechanical deficiencies Company Description:BELFOR Property Restoration is the North American leader in integrated disaster recovery and property restoration services. BELFOR’s 401K Plan through TransAmerica ‐ To be eligible to join the 401K savings plan, you must complete 6 months of service and be 21 years of age or older. You may join the plan on the first of any month following your 6 month employment anniversary. BELFOR makes a discretionary match with only contributions up to 8% of compensation being considered. Paid Time Off – Receive 5 days of Personal and/or Sick time after 90 days of employment and annually thereafer. In addition, receive 5 days of Vacation after 1 year of employment, 10 days after 2 years, and 15 days after 7 years. All Personal and Vacation time will renew on your anniversary date. ***DISCLAIMER: California employees will accrue Vacation on a weekly basis in accordance with state-specific policy.
