A candidate who canensure compliance, minimize downtime, and improve efficiencyin ahigh-volume manufacturing environment.Role Purpose The Assistant Manager of Electrical Maintenance is responsible for leading theinstallation, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical systemsin the plant. This role ensures product quality, machine safety, and uptime by supervising maintenance staff, coordinating contractors/vendors, and managing budgets, compliance, and training.Key Responsibilities Supervise, schedule, and lead the electrical maintenance team. Overseeinstallation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairof all plant electrical systems and equipment. ManagePreventive Maintenance (PM) programsfor electrical systems, shop equipment, and machines. Conduct inspections (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) and ensure compliance withelectrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations. Manage budgets, vendors, work orders, and project timelines. Maintain documentation of electrical repairs, inspections, and safety records. Supportenergy efficiency and sustainability initiatives. Provide training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions for team members. Recruit, hire, and develop electrical maintenance staff. Manage spare parts and tool inventory to minimize downtime. Proactively identify and correct unsafe conditions and practices.Required Experience & Qualifications 10+ years of hands-on electrical maintenance experiencein amanufacturing/industrial environment. 3–5 years of leadership/supervisory experience(Assistant Manager or higher). Strong technical knowledge of: PLCs, robotics, servo motors Electrical building systems (HVAC, power, controls) Welding/fabrication (preferred) Ability to read and interpretblueprints, schematics, and control diagrams. Proficiency withMicrosoft Office. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. AA degree required(Electrical or related field). Flexibility to work on-call, including evenings/weekends/holidays when required.Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Work split between office and non-temperature-controlled shop floor. Must be able tolift/carry 10–30 lbs., climb, bend, twist, squat, and stand for extended periods. Frequent use of computer, phone, and tools.
