Job *****2nd Shift Controls Technician - Allen-Bradley *****Shelby Township, MIQualifications Completion of a2-year degree or technical certificate programrequired. 3–5 years of manufacturing experiencewith strong technical knowledge in automation. Hands-on expertise withrobotics, PLCs, scanners, and cameras. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Key Responsibilities Follow all safety requirements and company policies (IATF 16949, ISO 14001). Test, troubleshoot, and implement new processes, automation systems, and robotics. Install retrofits, diagnose and repair hardware, software, and instrumentation issues. Support start-up activities and ongoing automation process improvements. Create and maintain automation processes, testing procedures, and compliance reports. Install, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, robots, scanners, and cameras. Provide 24/7 support availability as required. Work within a team and support overtime as needed.Working Conditions Physical ability to lift up to50 lbs. Ability to stand for up to12 hours per shiftwith frequent walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crawling. Must wear required PPE in a manufacturing environment.
