About the OpportunityWe are supporting a growing aviation services company in their search for aGSE Service Technician/Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on mechanic or technician with strong experience inheavy vehicles, industrial machinery, or ground support equipmentto step into a critical role supporting day-to-day airside operations.Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Service Technician / Supervisor ***** Indianapolis, IN Employment ***** Full-Time, Permanent ***** $25–$35 per hour (DOE)The role is suited to someone who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working on a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems. Candidates with supervisory experience, or those looking to step into a lead role, will also be strongly considered.Key Responsibilities Performmaintenance, repairs, and troubleshootingon a wide range of GSE, including tugs, belt loaders, ground power units, air-conditioning units, and refuelling vehicles. Carry outpreventive maintenance inspectionsand ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently. Diagnose and repairmechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Record and report on maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Order and install replacement parts as needed, ensuring minimal downtime. Maintain clean, safe, and well-organised workshop areas, tools, and stock. Adhere to allsafety standards and regulations, reporting any hazards immediately. Work closely with other technicians and departments to coordinate repairs and schedules. Provide support and guidance to junior mechanics and team members when required. Travel occasionally to customer sites for servicing and repair work.What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent;technical certification in automotive or heavy equipment repair preferred. Strong hands-on experience as a mechanic, ideally withinground support equipment, commercial vehicles, or heavy plant machinery. Welding skills and relevant industry certifications (e.g., ASE, EPA) are a plus. Proficient with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Comfortable working outdoors, around heavy machinery, and in varying weather conditions. Physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks as required.What’s on Offer Hourly rate of$25–$35 depending on experience. Full-time, permanent role with regular Monday–Friday schedule.
