We think you're going to love it here!What Awaits You?Free onsite parkingCareer growth and developmentTuition AssistanceDiverse and collaborative working environmentComprehensive and affordable benefits packagePOSITION SUMMARY:Performs complete and diagnostic Magnetic Resonance imaging studies of pediatric patients for radiologist interpretation.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Produces and evaluates images according to defined protocols to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of imaging exams and patients for treatment and plan of care for patientsAdheres to Radiology specific policies in regards to patient safety that are established by the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, regulatory, and accreditation governing bodiesMaintains required levels of education that pertain to clinical, family, and patient centered careProtects and complies with Magnetic Resonance Zone safety possessing knowledge of restrictions and contraindications; screens patient for contraindications to MRI and contrast administration in compliance with ACR guideline for MR SafetySupports anesthesia staff in collaboration with Radiology nursing staff to prepare and monitor sedated patients in the MRI environmentQUALIFICATIONS:Satisfactory completion of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program3 years’ MRI experience required in neuro, body, musculoskeletal and vascular areasA.R.R.T. (R) (MR); Florida Radiography License; Current Basic Life Support, AHAStrong computer skills in multiple databases for the acquisition and manipulation of image data, utilizing 3d, neuro-functional post-processing workstations, PACS and electronic chartingMRI contrast administration with IV skillsLocation:St. Petersburg, FLShift:Evening Shift; Mon thru Fri - on-call rotation may include weekendsStatus :Full-Time (40 hours per week)Salary Range:Minimum 33.20/hour - Maximum 53.13/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.JHM prioritizes the health and well-being of every employee.
