The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Surgery, Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery, is seeking a Division Chief. This position plays a key leadership role UT Southwestern, and Parkland Health & Hospital System. The Division Chief is responsible for expanding clinical practice, faculty recruitment & development and strategic leadership. Applicant will provide leadership to a busy colorectal clinical practice.UT Southwestern ranks among the top academic medical centers in the world. Candidates will be expected to participate in the colorectal clinical practice and teaching programs at Clements University Hospital and Parkland Memorial Hospital. Educational responsibilities include the clinical training of general surgery residents. A commitment to basic or clinical research is essential. Applicant must be Board Certified in General Surgery, and be eligible for a Texas Medical License.
