Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Experienced or Senior Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama.Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Procurement Agents .We're looking for skilled professionals who are passionate about precision and innovation to help produce Boeing's Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) seeker-an integral part of the world's most advanced air defense system. Join us and put your passion, determination, and skill to work building the future!Position Responsibilities - Experienced Level 3 :Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial itiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.Position Responsibilities - Senior Level 4 :Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding terprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position is for 1st shift.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):More than 3 years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processesExperience interfacing with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposalsExperience working directly with suppliersExcellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of customer serviceExperience in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higher Typical Education/Experience: Experienced Level 3 : Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required. Senior Level 4 : Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required. Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. (Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.) Travel: Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.
