Window Field Service Technician

Kasson & Keller have immediate openings available for Window Field Service Technicians in Fonda, NY. In this role, you will be performing warranty and non-warranty window and door repairs while ensuring customer satisfaction. You must live within a commutable distance to the Fonda, NY facility and possess a valid NY driver's license.Annual pay starts at $60,000, depending on your experience and knowledge.We invest in our employees with training and provide opportunities for you to have job and career growth!Full-time employee benefits include:• Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance after 30 days• 6 paid holidays after 30 days• 1 floating holiday after 30 days• 1–4 weeks paid vacation• 56 hours of sick time off• 401(k) + 4% company match after 90 days• Supplemental coverages• Free Life InsuranceWindow Field Service Technician Scope of Work:You will be repairing doors and windows that are both warranty and non-warranty repair orders.You will need to have construction aptitude to handle such issues as:• Diagnostic Skills• Service and Repair issues on existing installs• Ability to reglaze glass on windows and doors• Ability to fix lock and keeper alignment on all types of windows• Operation of different types of windows and doors• Work with the Service Manager on scheduling upcoming services• Taking time to listen to a customer’s concerns• Explaining to customers what will happen throughout their service• Answering any questions that may arise• Ensuring customer satisfaction• Keep a positive professional attitudeQualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• Window installation and repair experience• Ability to communicate in a timely fashion• Ability to lift to 50 lbs• Able to perform the essential functions of the job• Able to organize tasks and job requirements• Proficient in the use of tools and equipment• Knowledge of and training in job-site and equipment safety• Diagnostic skills: assessment, problem-solving, and decision-making• Self-motivation, time and work process management skills, and the ability to work independently• Valid driver’s licenseFull-time schedules are now available:• Monday–Friday• No weekendsKasson & Keller is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
