Ifyou arededicated andambitious, thenLakeside Nursing and Rehab. is an excellent place to grow your career.Do nothesitate to apply.Responsibilities for Dietary AideOrganize and adjust tables for dining areas, paying special attention to cleanliness and ease of useAssistteam members with preparing and cooking meals for the facilityDeliver meals and food trays to patients at predetermined timesRemove plates and serve ware upon the completion of a patient finishing their mealDiscard trash and remove waste after scheduled dining hall timesMaintain clean and orderly food stations for buffets andspecial eventsMonitor pantry stock and inform management of items running low and in need or re-orderingAssistkitchen manager in creating menus within the budget and requirements of patientsQualifications for Dietary AideExperience working in a medical environment or in customer service is preferredSkilled in preparing food for a large group of people as instructed by kitchen managementBasic understanding of kitchen cookware and appliancesExcellent teamwork and communication skills are needed to successfully prepare large-scale catering ordersAbility to work on your feet and in the standing position for an extended periodExperience cooking various meals and following recipesFlexibility in terms of availability, able to work holidays and weekendpreferredAbility to lift and transport heavy trays and carts as needed
