Experienced Commercial Carpenter

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a thorough understanding of construction practices, and the ability to manage projects effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach, ensuring that all carpentry tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.*Duties** Review and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements.* Oversee the execution of contracts, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards.* Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process to maintain high standards of workmanship.* Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.*Qualifications** Strong knowledge CFMF, Interior Metal Framing and Acoustical Ceilings.* Excellent leadership skills* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in quality control processes.* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.* Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, subcontractors, and clients.We primarily work through Carpenters Locals 276 and 277 and currently have projects in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Ithaca and the Southern Tier. Pay will be $36.11/hr and up with an additional $24.15/hr for health insurance, pension and annuity.
