Commercial Roofing Project ManagerWe are growing our team and we are looking for a commercial construction focused Project Manager to join us The PM will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects in the commercial roofing sector. They ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standard while adhering to safety regulations and contractual obligations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES Create and deliver a complete projectplantotheprojectteam that will enable successfulSQDCME (safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale, environment)Review allprojectinformationwith estimators includingcontracts, budgets,job start and finish dates,jobrequirements, and submittalsComplete job set up includingthe submittal package, material purchase order,work orderandmanufacturers warranty in order to ensure aproper hand-offto the Superintendent andForemanSet up and enter an overall project estimate into the companys accounting system to properly monitor and track all associated costs that will hit the projects cost centerSchedule pre-job meetings, time out or in progress meetings and close out meetings with all relevant parties involved with the projectMonitor all assigned projectsto ensure complianceto all contractual obligationsWork closely with Superintendentsand Foremen ensuring they have everythingthey needto completethejob ontime and on budgetOrdermaterials,issuechange orders, and updatebilling as requiredReport oneachprojecttodepartment heads and ensure communication oftrue performancelevelsActive participation in weekly departmentmeetings QUALIFICATIONS Associates or Bachelors degree in a relevant field or extensive relevant work experienceExperience workingin a commercialroofing environment or in a commercial construction space is preferred.Knowledge ofvarious commercialroofingsystems,materials, andinstallationmethods is a plus.Strong understanding of stateandlocalbuilding codesincludingUniformBuildingCode, and electrical and plumbing codes.Solid working knowledge ofconstructionsite development; commercial construction, demolition, andremodel procedures.Must be able to manage multiple jobs simultaneouslyAbilitytoread, analyze, and comprehenddrawingsand specification documents suchassafetyrules, operating andmaintenanceinstructions,and proceduremanuals.Abilitytowriteroutinereportsand correspondence.Abilitytoadd, subtract,multiply, anddivideinall units ofmeasure, usingwholenumbers,commonfractions, anddecimals andto computerates andratios.Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other safety standards. WORKENVIRONMENT Combination of office and on-site work.Travel may be required to various project locations.Exposuretopotentially dangerousmaterialsandsituationthatrequirefollowing extensivesafety precautions andwillincludethe use ofpersonal protective equipment.Abilitytotwist,reach, bend, stoop, and squat occasionally.Abilitytoclimbladders upto 40feettall or scaffolding.Abilitytokeeporregain body balance or stay uprightwhenin an unstable position.Abilitytoworkin a working environmentthatisloud and noisy.Knowledge of and abilitytofollowsafety practices and proceduresusedinworking onladdersandroofs.
