Family Nurse Practitioner (Float) opportunity in West Phoenix, AZWe are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team of providers providing comprehensive primary health care services through the identification, management and/or referral of health problems and the maintenance of the client s health by means of preventive care and health promotion.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESReports to the Regional Medical DirectorProvide accessible and available health services to patients for which the Provider is credentialed and privilegedEducation of and effective communication with those served concerning the diagnosis and treatment of their medical conditions, appropriate preventive measures, and use of the health care systemTreatment that is consistent with clinical impressions and working diagnosesAppropriate, accurate and complete electronic medical record entries, in a timely mannerAdequate and appropriate transfer of information for continuity of careEvaluate patients in a timely, courteous, and professional mannerCompletes all required documentation for billing of services providedPromote and demonstrate good customer service to both external and internal customersConsult, refer, and collaborate with other disciplines involved in the delivery of total patient careAdvise management on performance deficiencies of medical auxiliary personnel (incl. M.A.s)Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to interpret licensing standards for Advanced Practitioner practice (scope of practice)Assume the role and duties of other clinical personnel, as necessaryRotate call for emergencies in the evenings and on weekends and holidays, as assignedAttend continuing medical education (CME) programs as paid for by our organization and if required to maintain licensure.
