Neurology Nurse Practitioner

An established healthcare facility in Worcester County, Massachusetts is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide coverage for their inpatient Neurosurgery team. About the opportunity:Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week Responsibilities:Provide inpatient care for neurosurgery patientsManage a patient load of approximately 2-5 patients per shiftPerform procedures such as JP drain removals (preferred)Collaborate with a team of APPs and residentsNo operating room duties or critical procedures required Qualifications:Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantNeurosurgery or surgical experience preferredCurrent Massachusetts CSR and DEA requiredStrong clinical judgment and ability to work independently within a team setting
