Citibank, N.A. seeks a Salesperson for its New York, NY location.Duties: Structure and execute trading solutions with financial institutions in Brazil and deliver specialized portfolio investment solutions to clients in the region. Execute transactions and gather information regarding Brazilian financial markets, provide comprehensive market analysis to the regional clientele, determine sales strategies, execute transactions and provide complex financial market data analysis to clients utilizing Citi's Booking systems, Quoting system, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)/Analytics systems including: Markitwire, Trade Booking System (TPS), Velocity, Simplicity, FeFX, EBOx, Sonar, Edealer, DPaddins, CitiRisk, Sonar Dashboard, Esales, and Client Insight. Oversee foreign exchange, rates, and credit transactions utilizing booking systems, including trader portfolios and client settlements accounts, credit limits and thresholds. Understand underlying structure of booking process to ensure costly errors are reduced and resolved. Interact with local franchises at all levels, establishing and developing relationships with clients across customer base in Brazil and Latin American region. Understand global financial markets, economic events and news affecting international markets and prepare summaries of top news and probable market movers to distribute internally and externally. Analyze economic data and implications. Use Asset Valuation models for financial instruments, including Emerging Markets Rates, FX, Credit, and G10 Rates, while applying complex concepts of financial mathematics to price structures according to client-specific needs. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Finance, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, as a Financial Analyst, or in a related occupation. Two (2) years of experience must include: Pricing and marketing Foreign Exchange operations including Spot, Non-Deliverable Forward, Swaps, Vanilla Options, and Exotics Options (1st and 2nd generation - Dual Digital, Contingents, Volswaps, VKOs, Worst Of, FVAs, and Correlation Swaps) for Emerging and Developed Markets; Pricing and Marketing Rates trades including Interest Rates Swaps, Overnight Index Swaps, Swaptions, and Cross-Currency Swaps for emerging and developed markets; Pricing and marketing credit products including Cash Bonds, Notes, Credit Default Swaps, Credit Default Swap Index, Repurchase Agreement (Repo), and Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities Index for emerging and developed markets; Pricing and marketing Hybrid Multi-Asset trades including Dual Digital and Contingent Options involving Equities, Foreign Exchange, Rates, Commodities or Credit; Pricing and marketing Brazilian onshore products including Casado, Cupom Cambial Swaps, NDF Onshore and Local Government Bonds; Establishing client relationships with Brazilian financial institutions including banks, asset managers, hedge funds, pension funds, and family offices and representing how Brazilian investment management industry operates, including its requirements, articulating and quantifying commercial opportunities; Handling trades, client Credit Risk, and other metrics including Pre-Settlement Exposure (PSE), Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA) and Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA); and Negotiating agreements including International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) Agreements, Credit Support Annex (CSA), Global Master Repurchase Agreement (GMRA), and Contrato Global de Derivativos (CGD). 40 hrs./wk. 10% international travel required.
