TN Quality Care Hospice is seeking a Hospice LPN to join our growing Jackson team on a PRN basis! New competitive salaries and flexible hours!Territory: Jackson, TN and surrounding countiesSchedule: As needed. 2-4 days a week. Also requires one weekend a month.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program with current license to practice in the state.Prior home health or hospice experience preferred w/ minimum of 1 year medical/surgical experience.Maintains a current CPR certification.Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.What We offer:Flexible HoursGreat culture and team atmosphereMileage reimbursementEmployee Referral ProgramEmployee Discount Programs401k + MatchWhat You'll Do:Provides direct patient care as defined in State Nurse Practice ActImplements current nursing practice following a comprehensive assessment and the plan of careProvide accurate and timely documentation of patient services to reflect the plan of careAssess and provide patient and family/caregiver education and information pertinent to diagnosis and self-plan of careParticipates in coordination of hospice services, appropriately reporting the identified needs to the interdisciplinary group. Examples include hospice aide, OT, PT, MSW, Dietitian or Clinical SupervisorProvides appropriate pain/symptom management.
