The ideal candidate will be a results-driven litigator with strong courtroom presence, leadership skills, and a passion for advocacy"”someone who strives to make a difference for clients and contribute to the firm's continued growth.What We Provide:Base salary of $300K+, plus bonuses per case handledComprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) retirement plan with employer participationPaid parking at our Century City officeNegotiable paid time off (PTO) and 6 paid sick days annuallyAccess to state-of-the-art case management technology (Litify, Filevine, CasePeer)A collaborative, high-performing environment built on respect, accountability, and growthA Total Rewards Program comparable to large firms, offering:Exclusive employee discounts for theme parks, events, and entertainmentParticipation in recognition and reward programs celebrating excellence and tenureAdditional wellness, culture, and engagement perks designed to support long-term success and satisfactionResponsibilities:Lead strategy, development, and execution of complex litigation cases from inception through verdictServe as lead trial counsel on high-value and/or complex personal injury and elder abuse mattersSupervise, mentor, and provide guidance to Associate Trial Attorneys and litigation team membersDevelop and execute litigation strategies in coordination with Managing AttorneyManage client relationships and ensure exceptional client serviceConduct and oversee all aspects of discovery, including written discovery, depositions, and expert discoveryDraft, review, and edit high-quality pleadings, motions, and memorandaLead mediations and settlement negotiations with full negotiation authorityPrepare clients and witnesses for depositions, trials, and hearingsAttend and advocate at depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trialsBe prepared to try a minimum of 5 trials per year to verdictProvide leadership in trial preparation, trial execution, and post-trial briefingsParticipate and lead litigation team meetings; collaborate closely with support staff and paralegalsSubmit quarterly reporting of fees earned to ownershipUphold and promote the firm's core values and professional standardsPerform other duties as assigned by Managing Attorney or PartnersQualifications and Skills:Active member of the State Bar of California in good standingMinimum of 15+ years of litigation and trial experience (personal injury preferred)MUST HAVE several 1st chair trials to verdict with proven trial success and resultsAbility to manage and supervise 50+ active litigation filesStrong leadership and mentoring abilitiesSuperior oral advocacy, legal writing, and research skillsAdvanced knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and California personal injury lawProficiency with Litify, Filevine, or other case management systemsTechnologically proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and legal software tools)Professional demeanor with exceptional organizational and time management skillsTeam-oriented mindset with ability to collaborate across departmentsDemonstrated ability to meet and exceed individual, department, and firm performance goals
