Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

About Us: We offer physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy for the pediatric population of Orange County. Our caring staff is specially trained and qualified to treat a variety of diagnoses and conditions. aMAYZing Kids is built on a strong foundation of skilled therapists, involved parents, volunteers, and donors connected through lifelong relationships. Together with the fundraising efforts of the clinic and the associated non-profit organization, the Hailey Mayz Foundation, we support the one-on-one care of children with special needs. Responsibilities: • Creating unique, individualized treatment plans that outline the treatment goals and methods to be used. • Assessing patients and monitoring their progress. • Coordinating a child's care with other healthcare professionals. • Teaching children and their families about the importance of Speech Therapy through therapy and a home program. Requirements: • Active California license. • Excellent interpersonal communication skills. • Attention to detail, patience, and empathy. • Ability to manage patients with different involvement levels.
