Gift of Hope is an established company with a professional team of employees dedicated to providing therapeutic services to individuals and families in the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas. We currently have positions available for Residents in Counseling, who are seeking experience providing outpatient counseling services and are in need of supervision to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Services would be provided in an Outpatient Office setting with a full-time caseload of clients consisting of adolescents and adults with some family therapy sessions, as needed, and when applicable. The case load would range from 25-35 clients per week. Qualifications: Minimum of a masters degree in counseling or related field Registered as a Resident in Counseling or in the process of registering as a Resident in Counseling in the state of Virginia Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills Must complete a background check and drug screen prior to working with clients Responsibilities: Provide individual therapy and some family therapy sessions, as needed, for adolescents and adults. Complete Comprehensive Assessments and provide accurate diagnoses to identify clients mental health needs. Develop Treatment Plans and utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support clients mental health needs. Provide ongoing case documentation, such as progress notes, quarterlies, and discharge summaries to monitor and record client progress and adjust treatment goals and objectives, as needed, to support clients mental health and personal growth. Collaborate with other professionals involved with clients care or services. Engage in ongoing professional development by maintaining continuing education requirements and accessing available training to support behavioral health best practices and professional growth. Participate in weekly supervision with Clinical Supervisor(s). Benefits: Residents will receive1 hour of supervision weekly, those with 25 + clients, 2 hours of supervision toward residency hours, weekly Compensated $45 per outpatient session Some flexibility with scheduling In-person and telehealth sessions Job Type: Contract Pay: $54,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person by Jobble
