Project Assistant / Customer Support

Description We are looking for a Project Assistant with Customer Service and Administrative experience to join our team in the Mechanicsburg area. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to customers, project management, data entry and administrative support. This position requires a motivated and detail-oriented individual who excels in communication and thrives in a dynamic work environment. Responsibilities: - Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries. - Prepare accurate quotations and process sales orders, purchase orders, and invoices efficiently. - Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain product details, pricing, and availability. - Maintain and update customer records to ensure accurate documentation and seamless follow-up. - Perform order entry. - Collaborate with manufacturers to expedite orders and meet customer deadlines. - Support the sales team by tracking orders, managing delivery schedules, and addressing customer requests. - Provide technical support, product recommendations, and detailed information to customers. - Handle additional administrative tasks to support both sales and service departments. Requirements - 3+ years of experience in customer service or sales support environment - Proficiency in data entry and working with Microsoft Excel. - Experience preparing quotations and processing purchase orders. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
