Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their team. This is an onsite role in Denver with a hybrid schedule. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $115,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Facilitate communication between field teams and accounting to ensure accurate financial data sharing and reporting.Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, assess performance, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.Oversee key accounting functions, including general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.Prepare and present financial data at monthly division reviews, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement financial policies, streamline accounting processes, and enhance operational efficiency. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in commercial construction.Demonstrate proficiency in job costing, general ledger management, budgeting, and financial reporting.Show strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate financial performance and support decision-making.Maintain excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple financial projects and deadlines. Qualifications: Utilize advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to analyze financial data and generate reports.Apply knowledge of ERP systems to improve accounting accuracy and efficiency.Communicate financial insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Exhibit leadership qualities with the ability to manage accounting teams and provide mentorship.
