Position Summary: Standard Wellness is seeking a full-time Sales Representative for the Cincinnati area. The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with dispensaries in the State of Ohio and managing Standard Wellness product distribution to licensed dispensaries. The position will also require visiting current and prospective dispensary customers to develop relationships, position sales, provide product training, and promote sell-through. The Sales Representative will also be responsible for helping to determine the best product mix for dispensary needs. Will be a main point of contact for dispensary operators and retail buyers. Essential Job Functions: ü Develop and maintain business relationships with existing and prospective customers by providing information on product use and benefits, recommending products based on customer needs, and offering ongoing support ü Train dispensary staff on Standard Wellness products to ensure proper consumption and dosing ü Work with dispensaries to improve product exposure, shelf positioning and distributing promotional literature to customers. ü Maintain records of sales or other business transactions; prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales reports ü Provide accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts ü Contribute market insights and competitive analysis to Company leadership ü Coordinate with Brand Ambassadors on field marketing activities to promote brand awareness and drive retail sell-through ü Represent the Company's brands at industry trade shows, meet-ups, and sponsored events ü Comply with all State of Ohio DCC marketing regulations ü Maintain professional knowledge of all Standard Wellness products ü Other duties as assigned by your supervisor Qualifications: Required: ü Must be at least 21 years of age ü Must have a valid drivers' license, a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle. ü Must be able to pass all background check and licensing requirements as set forth by the Division of Cannabis Control ü Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field. Commensurate experience will be considered ü Minimum 2 (two) years' experience in an outside sales role ü Cannabis sales experience, helpful ü Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without an accommodation ü Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: This section outlines the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the Sales Representative to be successful in their role. It is not intended to be an all-inclusive list. ü Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products ü Knowledge of sales control systems ü Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel ü Knowledge of State of Ohio Cannabis rules and regulations ü Strong organization skills ü Strong analysis, problem solving and decision-making skills ü Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy ü Ability to establish long and short-term goals and sales plans ü Ability to be a self-starter and see projects through to completion ü Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisor, clients, staff, vendors, etc.
