Survey Project Manager (Licensed PLS | RLS)Position OverviewThe Survey Project Manager will oversee and manage surveying projects from inception to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. This role requires a strong understanding of land surveying principles, project management skills, and the ability to foster strong client relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage land surveying projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.Coordinate with clients to understand project scope and requirements.Prepare and review project proposals, cost estimates, and contracts.Supervise survey crews and provide technical guidance on surveying methods and equipment.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying regulations and standards.Conduct boundary surveys and prepare necessary documentation for land development.Mentor junior survey staff and provide training on surveying practices and technologies.Manage project schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.QualificationsProfessional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification required.10+ years of experience in Land Surveying.Strong knowledge of land surveying practices and principles.Experience with ALTA, MSPs, and municipal survey requirements preferred.Familiarity with Trimble and Civil 3D software.Excellent project management skills including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relationship management.Ability to mentor and supervise junior staff effectively.BenefitsVacation/PTOMedical & Dental - Company pays 100% of employeeVisionBonus - Competitive based on company/department/individual performance401K with company matching
