Job Summary: The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing key customer relationships within the chemical manufacturing sector. This role involves strategic account planning, contract negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record in B2B sales and account management.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategic account plans for high-value clients in the chemical industry.Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional service and responsiveness.Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and lead efforts to expand product offerings.Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, supply chain, production) to meet customer needs and resolve issues.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements in alignment with company goals.Monitor market trends and customer feedback to inform product development and sales strategies.Prepare regular reports on account performance, forecasts, and pipeline activity.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.7+ years of experience in account management or sales within chemical manufacturing or a related industry.Strong understanding of chemical products, applications, and regulatory requirements.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Proficiency in CRM tools and data analysis.
