Their key responsibilities include:Project Coordination: Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure the project stays on time and within budget.Subcontractor Management: Supervise and direct subcontractors and trades to ensure work meets specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.Quality Control: Inspect ongoing work to confirm it aligns with design documents, material standards, and client expectations.Safety Oversight: Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.Problem Solving: Address on-site issues quickly-such as design conflicts, material delays, or unforeseen conditions-to minimize disruptions.Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between project managers, designers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain smooth project flow.Documentation: Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and records of inspections, deliveries, and changes.Finish Coordination: Oversee detailed finish work such as flooring, millwork, lighting, and fixtures to ensure a high-quality final product.In essence, they are the on-site leader ensuring that all interior renovation work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
