At Lockheed Martin, our Structural Assemblers play a crucial role in building components and assemblies for some of the world's most advanced aircraft, including the F/-35 Lightning II, the F/-16 Fighting Falcon, and the C/-130J Super Hercules/. As part of our dynamic team across multiple sites, you'll contribute directly to our mission of delivering cutting/-edge aerospace solutions that support freedom around the globe/. Key Responsibilities - Assemble sheet metal detail and assembly parts using a variety of fasteners and hand tools, following approved methods from blueprints and engineering specifications/. - Combine completed fabricated and machined parts using sealants or adhesives/. - Utilize tooling, fixtures, and shop aids to assemble components and assemblies accurately/. - Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure high/-quality production and timely delivery/. - Participate in company training programs, guided by subject matter experts, to develop your skills and advance your career/. - Perform other duties as assigned to meet production goals/. This posting is applicable to multiple shifts/. **Basic Qualifications:** - Experience with reading and understanding technical documentation such as work orders or build documents/. - Experience or education in any of the following technical fields; Auto mechanics, Carpentry, Auto body repair, Metal fabrication, HVAC, Welding, Fabrication, Assembly, and Manufacturing/. - Experience working with hand tool, power tools, and measuring devices/. **Desired Skills:** - Experience reading and interpreting written specifications, blueprints and engineering drawings/. - Military experience in a career field that aligns with the basic qualifications for this position/. - Aircraft Assembly / Repair experience/. **Clearance Level:** None **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match/. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed/.
