**Description:** **WHAT WE'RE DOING** The TPY/-4 system is a Next Gen Radar for Next Gen Threats, with a growing customer base domestically and internationally/. As the product line continues to grow, we are looking for highly talented individuals to become Technical Directors in the Chief Engineering organization for upcoming international programs/. **THE WORK** In this important role, you will: - Lead technical scope on select TPY/-4 radar system programs/. - Develop modifications to existing products to meet unique customer needs/. - Serve as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture/. - Ensure conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system/. - Develop models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development/. - Support internal and external design reviews/. - Present to customers and senior management and tailor the material based on the audience/. - Provide Radar subject matter expertise and mentoring to more junior engineers/. Please Note: - This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration/. - This position will involve around 15% travel to our international customer sites/. **WHO WE ARE** You will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals including Integrated Product Team Leads, Engineering Project Managers, System Architects, and Chief Engineers/. You will also have the opportunity to interface with various international customers/. **Basic Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, Minimum 10 years relevant engineering experience/. - Ability to operate as the program engineering POC for Customers, Senior Leadership and the Program Office/. - Radar system performance modeling and tactical data analysis - Radar signal and data processing algorithms in Matlab - Understanding of the RF/Analog, Digital, and Software building blocks of a radar system - Experience working with and/or designing radar systems - Effective presentation and communication skills, for audiences ranging from internal engineering teams, to internal executive stakeholders and the external customer community - Final Secret clearance **Desired Skills:** - Radar System Architecture Experience with TPY/-4 product/. - Radar system integration and test experience - Requirements analysis and definition - Experience with Electronic Protection algorithms - Experience interfacing with international customers - Advanced Degree **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration/. **Clearance Level:** Secret **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match/. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed/. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits/. **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week **Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York /(excluding most major metropolitan areas/), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 /- $236,325/. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location/. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only/.
