They specialize in large-scale projects across the tri-state area and maintain a collaborative, team-oriented culture.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities for the MEP Estimator Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans and specifications.Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.Perform quantity take-offs using industry-standard estimating software.Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and develop value engineering solutions.Assist with bid strategy, scope definition, and proposal development.Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client meetings as needed.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry trends.Coordinate smooth hand-off of awarded projects to project management teams.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
