What You'll Be Doing: * Lead or support the design of roadway projects including typical sections, geometric layouts, drainage and hydraulic analyses, erosion control plans, safety features, and maintenance of traffic plans * Prepare construction documents, including plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates * Manage tasks and oversee work performed by junior engineers and CAD technicians * Support the development and training of early-career staff * Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure design excellence and client satisfaction * Support a diverse portfolio of projects, including federal, commercial, and institutional clients What You Bring to the Team: * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program * Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Oklahoma * Minimum of 5 years transportation design experience * Proficiency with AutoDesk, Civil 3D, or OpenRoads * Working knowledge of design standards and guidelines including: * AASHTO Green Book * Roadside Design Guide * MUTCD * Oklahoma DOT Roadway Design Manual * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) projects and familiarity with their design standards and plan development preferences Essential Physical Functions: * Sit/stand at a desk or computer * Walk, stoop, stand and move around job sites * Travel and occasional site visits requiring stooping, standing, and lifting up to 30 lbs. * Frequent communication via phone, video, or in-person meetings * Ability to focus on digital and paper-based information for extended periods * Some project-based travel may be required Let's Build the Future Together!
