We look for candidates who are prompt, dedicated and enjoy caring for others.Our facility is looking for a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to carefully dispense medication to patients. In this position, you will work under the supervision of an RN and assist staff members as needed. You are responsible for making sure patients take the right medications at the right time. Our ideal candidate has experience in elderly care, long term care, or memory care at a nursing home, assisted living facility, or hospital. We are seeking someone who can provide the highest standard of care for our residents and patients.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDispense patient medicationsTrack all prescription and non-prescription drugs that you administer, keeping meticulous records of dosage times and amountsEnsure patients take their medicationFollow all facility standards and regulations to ensure the safety of patients and staffRequirements And QualificationsCurrent Medication Aide certificationAt least one year of experience, ideally in an assisted living, memory care, or elderly care settingBLS certificationPassion for caring for othersInterpersonal skillsKeen attention to detailThe Laurel Health Care Company offers one of the leading employee benefit packages in the industry.
