A nonprofit organization in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing Primary Care team in Brooklyn.About the Opportunity:Schedule: Monday to FridayHours: 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm (some flexibility!)Setting: Satellite locationsResponsibilities:Provides medical care to pediatric, adolescent and adult patients, takes relevant patient history, and identifies patient needs and makes diagnosesObserves, implements, and promotes the federal regulations as defined by HIPAA and Policies and ProceduresAssists the Chief Medical Officer in the development and implementation of medical protocols and medical formsWorks collaboratively with physicians and specialists for consultation and referral purposesQualifications:2+ year of relevant experience as an Advanced Practice ProviderActive NYS PA or FNP licenseBoard/DEA certified with access to MedicaidPassion for working with underserved or at-risk populationsThis role offers an incredible opportunity to make a real difference while growing your career in a supportive and mission-driven environment.
