We are a custom injection molding company known for producing high quality products that meet the needs of our customers.SUMMARYResponsible for manually operating safety door on molding machine to extract molded parts or load molding fixtures/hand loads, to produce plastic parts.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Must remain at machine for duration of shift as required except for scheduled break timesRequired to perform secondary operations on molded parts to include trimming with knives and/or clippers, use of hand or power tools to separate molded parts from hand loadsCapable of shutting down a machine in an emergencyClean all auxiliary equipment to include hoppers, grinders and dryers as neededIdentify and understand material ticketsSafely answer alarms on the machineShut off water to the mold in case of a large leakCollect first shots and last shotsCorrectly complete Production Orders and Machine CardsUse limit samples/workmanship standards properlyUnderstand and perform rework proceduresBe available to work overtime as needed.If something doesn't seem quite right question it and report it to your supervisor immediately.To adhere to all company policies regarding conduct, safety practices, and job performance.Perform other duties as assignedStrategic planning for the growth and success of McDonald Plastic Molding.
