This hands-on role requires precision, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. You’ll contribute directly to ERMCO’s mission by ensuring each unit meets our rigorous standards and reflects our core values.What you will do:Effectively interpret and execute detailed written and verbal instructions related to verifying, documenting, and preparing outgoing shipments. Ensure the safe and proper use of tools and equipment, including motorized lift devices. Regularly lift and move materials weighing over 50 lbs., with or without assistance from lifting devices or team members. Maintain strict adherence to ERMCO standards for all outbound shipments and associated documentation. Consistently follow all ERMCO safety policies and procedures.Necessary Qualifications:Ability to follow, communicate, and comprehend written and verbal instructionsProficient in using iPads and other electronic communication devicesStrong teamwork skills with a focus on open communication and collaborationExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailBasic math proficiency: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measurementKnowledge and demonstration of proper lifting techniquesAbility to grasp, reach, and handle various objects, tools, and materialsExperience using hand scanners and radio communication devicesSkilled in operating motorized fork trucksAbility to operate overhead hoists and lift-assist equipmentPhysically capable of lifting/pushing and pulling 50+ lbs.Able to stand and walk frequentlyOccasionally able to sit, stoop, reach, or kneelVisual acuity of 20/40 (with or without corrective lenses), normal peripheral vision at least 70 degrees, depth perception, and focus adjustmentCompliance with all plant safety policies and department-specific safety rulesAbility to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety toe shoes, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, welding hood, and hearing protection Preferred Qualifications:3 Years of consistent work history1 year of manufacturing experience Join ERMCO and TRANSFORM your career.
