You must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.Why You Should Apply:Competitive Pay:Earn up to $883 per week, or $55.20 per hour - plus benefits!*Flexible Work Schedule:Enjoy a 15 week assignment 12/09/2025 - 03/21/2026 with a 16-hour work week and 2 shifts per week.Location:Waterloo, New YorkGreat Benefits:Medical, 401(k) with company match, and more!* Pay package is based on 16 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined for travel positions.Position OverviewType of Position: TravelDescription:Registered Nurse Supervisor - Part Time Nights Schedule & Shift DetailsPart Time Nights: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM2x8s/3x8s rotation scheduleEvery other weekend requiredHoliday coverage as needed (3x8 shifts)In-person or Zoom interview requiredEducation RequirementsMinimum: Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional NursingPreferred: BSNLicense & Experience RequirementsCurrent New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensureMinimum 1-year nurse experience in long term careSupervisory experience across multiple unitsRequired CertificationsBLS required through AHA or RQI system during clinical orientationCPI obtained within 90 days of hireJob FunctionsUnder the direction of the Director of Nursing - LTC and in accordance with established policies and procedures, oversees the operation of the nursing units and personally or through subordinates, provides clinical supervision to employees assigned to the various nursing unitsAssures quality resident care through teaching and supervision of staff on respective shiftsCommunicates with Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Manager regarding identified and potential unit problems and collaborates with Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Managers to resolve problemsContacts Director of Nursing on off hours for only those critical issues requiring resolution and leaves appropriate communication at work for all other itemsMakes sound administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing and the Administrator - LTC (off-shift/weekends) within identified scope of responsibilityOther RequirementsUnder the direction of the Director of Nursing - LTC and in accordance with established policies and procedures, oversees the operation of the nursing units and personally or through subordinates, provides clinical supervision to employees assigned to the various nursing unitsAbility to collaborate effectively with medical staff, department managers, ancillary services and customers in a professional and courteous mannerDemonstrated ability to manage self professionally in stressful situationsAbility to facilitate clinical management, work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modelingFamiliarity with NYSDOH requirementsDemonstrated excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication (written and oral), analytical, and organizational skillsComputer literacyExposure Control ClassificationOccupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is reasonably anticipatedRequired tasks involve a potential contact with blood, body fluids, tissueCustomer FocusModels, exemplifies and leads in accordance with Healing Environment principlesSpecifically: being professional, communicating effectively, and attending to the care environmentThis is evidenced by work behavior which ensures safety, promotes dignity, respect and well-being, and exemplifies healthy relationshipsAlerion Healthcare Job ID #1851.
