Job Type Full Time Schedule Monday - Friday (8 am to 5 pm) Pay - $140,000 plus incentives Patients Per Day 14-16 EMR System - Epic Work Location Adults Job ID 51120 Job Description A San Rafael based client is seeking an exceptional Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide compassionate care in a mobile unit serving San Rafael, Marino, and Northern California. An ideal candidate is motivated, collaborative, and works well in an interdisciplinary team. Required Qualifications Master s or Doctorate Degree in Nursing with focus on Psychiatric nursing Graduation from a state-certified advanced practice program specializing in psychiatry/mental health Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse in the state of CA. Must have a valid DEA number and unrestricted DEA license in CA. At least 1-2 years providing direct client care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat adults experiencing symptoms of behavioral health disorders Prescribe, recommend, or discontinue drugs and treatments to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders Responsible for providing psychiatric services to clients in a variety of clinical settings during scheduled hours. Scope of services includes outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management services Collaborate with counselors, social workers, or other treatment team members to coordinate client care Responsible for timely and accurate completion of medical records, including assessment, progress notes, outcome measures, and billing entries Benefits 13 annual paid holidays Very generous vacation and sick time off accruals that increase with tenure.
