Senior EstimatorSalt Lake City, UT (On-site) Westates Construction CompanyWestates Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator to support our project management team across multifamily, single-family, office, and industrial projects. This role reports to the Director of Construction and plays a key part in developing accurate budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring financial performance across all projects.What You'll DoPrepare detailed budgets, cost estimates, and timelines for new and ongoing projectsTrack and analyze budget performance and highlight areas for improvementIdentify and qualify new vendors/subcontractors to reduce costs and improve reliabilityReview unit costs and bid data to drive consistency and savingsResolve PO and billing issues with vendors and subsProvide analytical and estimating support to the Head of Construction as neededWhat You Bring5+ years of estimating experience (preferably experience in Commercial Multifamily Home)Strong Excel skills; experience with BuilderMT and Sage is a plusIn-depth understanding of construction processes, budgeting, and schedulingExcellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skillsWhy WestatesWe're a locally owned, growing construction company that values collaboration, efficiency, and quality work.Benefits include: 401(k) match • Health, dental & vision insurance • HSA • Paid time off • Holidays • Employee discountsSchedule: Monday-Friday | Work Location: On-site (Salt Lake City, UT)
