About the Position:A Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or PA is needed to join a well-established community health center in Brooklyn, NY.Schedule:Monday Friday, 9am 5pmRotating Saturdays at designated locationsEvening clinic on Thursdays (11am 7pm) once or twice per month as neededOvernight call every 3 monthsPatient Volume & Scope: patients per dayNewborns included (with hands-on training provided by the supervising MD if needed)Collaborative environment with 1 MD and 2 3 NPsOpen to new graduates (with adjusted starting salary)Clinical Environment:EMR: EClinicalWorksPrimary site located in central Brooklyn, with rotations to additional locations as neededMain assignment begins at the Fulton Street site; possible rotations later to the Sterling Place locationEducation & Experience Requirements:Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) and Board Certification through the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) or the American Nursing Association (ANA)Valid New York State RN license and registration issued by the NYSEDMaster of Science in Nursing from an accredited institutionCurrent DEA license (if required for specialty)Depending on specialty, ACLS, NALS, PALS, or PEARS certification may also be requiredCompensation & Benefits:Salary range: $120,000 $135,000 (commensurate with experience)Full benefits packageAbout the Community:This role is based in Brooklyn, New York, one of the most dynamic and diverse boroughs of New York City.
