We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide inpatient oncology rounding and care management as part of a dedicated team of specialists.About the RoleIn this vital hospital-based position, the APP will collaborate closely with oncologists and hospital staff to manage the care of admitted oncology patients. You ll play a key role in supporting continuity of care, evaluating patient needs, and implementing treatment plans in a setting that values quality, collaboration, and compassionRound on inpatient oncology patients in a hospital settingConduct clinical assessments, order appropriate diagnostics, and manage treatment interventionsCollaborate with the oncology team, nursing staff, and hospitalists to ensure optimal patient outcomesDocument patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner using the EMRServe as a liaison between the inpatient team and outpatient care providersSupport patients and families through complex treatment journeys with professionalism and empathy Qualifications Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in VirginiaOncology experience required (inpatient oncology experience strongly preferred)Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and bedside mannerPassion for serving oncology patients with dignity and respect Compensation & Benefits Competitive Salary: $125,000 $145,000 annually (commensurate with experience)Comprehensive Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision coveragePaid time off and holidaysAnnual CME allowanceRetirement plan optionsMalpractice coverage Be part of a compassionate, mission-driven oncology team that makes a real difference in the community.
